Ecological Economics and The Commons Resources available

This week we open up the new year with a wonderful discussion lead by Ann Manning and Julie Ristau. Ann Manning, Convener of WCFFG-MN 2014 discussed the role of economics at the nexus of women and environmental issues. Julie Ristau, Co-Director of On the Commons, spoke about what the commons means and where the language in the Women’s Congress’ Declaration echoes this work. We also discussed tools to bring into our communities to better spread the understanding of the commons. We even managed to slip in some great information about the upcoming second gathering of the Women’s Congress in November!!

Listen to the audio recording, and peruse the great resources from this week’s briefing here.

Spread far and wide, and join us next month, February 13th, 2014 for a discussion on Guardianship!
