September 2013 marked one year since the first convening of the Women’s Congress for Future Generations in Moab, Utah. To celebrate, the Women’s Congress is excited to announce the launch of a new monthly call series on key concepts and frameworks that guide a Declaration of the Rights Held by Future Generations and the Responsibilities Held by Present Generations.
Beginning in October, we will convene these discussions every second Thursday of the month, at noon Central Time (10am PT; 11am MT; 1pm ET).
There are three overarching parts to the series that flow from the conceptual to the operational: (Part 1) Underlying Frameworks, (Part 2) Laws and Policies, and (Part 3) Institutions and Systems. Click here for more information on the intentions and goals of the series as well as upcoming topics.
If you can’t make one of the calls, do not worry! You may revisit any of the past briefings at anytime.
Please RSVP to Kaitlin Butler, Program Coordinator, at firstname.lastname@example.org for dial-in information and fact sheets
We will update this page regularly with upcoming topics.
Thank you all for your continued commitment to be guardians of Future Generations!
